i think we need to start a discussion about this evolve or die thing. thechrisgethardshow.tumblr/post/92053561726/evolve-or-die-this-summer-we-burn-down-the-chris now ive only been watching the show for about a year now, but in that year it has become a very big part of my life. personally, i think the show still has serious potential to be unpredictable and absurd. the eat more butts chant (something im very happy to have been there for) was proof of that! i agree with what chris said about the show losing its chaos, ive watched older episodes and there was definitely more of an edge to them than there is now. thats okay because the show is evolving, just like chris said. i understand what he means about the show feeling sort of stuck in a rut since they got back from the hiatus. eat more butts and random sandy aside, the show has felt a little too sober and a little too lukewarm. i would never go as far to say that it feels stale though; this show does need to evolve because i want it to continue! one year isnt enough! ive become a part of a community and i really dont want to see it dissolve! im going to try my hardest to be at every episode before the school year starts, if you live in the area and feel the same way i do, then id suggest you do the same (some of you dont even have to go to school!) if you dont live in the area then call in! this show needs a push to get it moving again, and i think that part of that totally relies on the audience. we are a team! we need to pull together and make something weird happen! this show needs to keep its loose and experimental edge that made it great in the first place and we all can contribute something to make that happen. but anyway thats enough of my opinion, what do you guys think?
