i tried the whole put litter in front of your house thing, and woke up like every hour to go call boogers name from the front yard last night. i had pretty much given up hope by 11 pm last night when the neighborhood got calm and she still wasnt home. sprinklers were going off and they terrify her, and she wasnt running home. finally around 4 am, i just sat outside on the stoop quietly and called her name a few times, i was on the verge of crying again and way way way off in the distance i heard a little bell. tiny, faint. but it was so quiet out i could finally hear. so i called her name again and i heard a little cry. then i kept calling and she kept crying and the bell was getting closer until she ran full speed up to me on the side walk and to the front door. i guess she lost her way. she is NEVER going outside again.
