i would like to share how bad one of our hometowns in Leyte was devastated by Haiyen. My hometown in Isabel, Leyte was also struck hard, as well as the neighbouring cities. The pictures you see is from my girlfriends hometown. Shes on her way there to find her family whose still missing. Food and water is scarce, bodies are still littered in the streets and shorelines. I fear for her safety and her familys whereabouts as the place still dont have communication, and shes alone. Shes very brave. people are becoming violent of hunger as we speak. Im coming down to find her and her family and help, i honestly dont know where to start. I know its heartless to say that i can only come after i have accomplished my commitments here in Singapore, but times like these makes me question myself on whats more important.. Im going. If you want to come along and make a difference in your life, and the life of others, come.
