i write below a few thoughts which i have been thinking about today....... so while i would appreciate your discussion / disagreement i would also request you to be disagreeing/ denying in a non polemic style...... some of it may seem obvious and some of it incomprehensible (non understandable) ..... hope you will think and that we can have a profitable discussion........ 1. while there is no evil which is necessary, it is necessary to accept there is evil everywhere....... inside yourself and outside yourself.... (i.e) simply put there is bad in you and outside you.... 2. when you say something is ambiguous ( open to more than one interpretation)......... we must not think that what is ambiguous is necessarily true or that it is necessarily false....... we must only say that we are not sure which interpretation is right....... while two interpretations of an ambiguous statement may be true, two opposite interpretations of an ambiguous statement cannot both be true......... 3. Being Dogmatic (inclined to lay down principles as undeniably true) is not a bad thing in itself because of 3 reasons........ firstly because everybody is dogmatic about something and nobody can escape from being dogmatic about something...... secondly it is not being dogmatic which is wrong, you can only be wrong in what you are being dogmatic about........ your dogmatism is right or wrong depending on whether your dogmatism, is according to or not according to absolute truth..... thirdly anyone who rejects dogmatism ultimately denies it dogmatically.... 4. Nobody who denies the existence of absolute truth is being logical because..... when one says there are no absolute truths..... what he is meaning really is that according to him the absolute truth is that there is no absolute truth........ in such a manner he affirms the existence of absolute truth by denying it and thus stand self contradicted............ 5. If one says there is absolute truth, it is not necessary for the to know all of those truths........ remember there is a distinction between the existence of absolute truth and the content of absolute/ objective truth.......... in short one can truly know absolute truth even if one does not know absolute truth completely....... in short your knowledge is correct if it is according to absolute truth, even though your knowledge is not exhaustive........ 6. Logic and language can truly help one to know reality and they are able to do so only because of God creating us in his image and because Logic and language are the gifts of our creator to us.......... logic and language are not the result of evolution or mans trials ultimately but they are ultimately Gods gift to us i hope these are enough for now, and i look forward to your discussions
