in 1984 a young English policeman named Dean would wake every day at 4:00 in the morning so that he could go train with an insurance clerk named Torvil at the ice ring in Nottingham for four hours every day before they started their day jobs. In the summer of that year they took the ice skating community by storm winning every sporting award available including the Olympic Gold and World Championship. Two of my favorite sporting moments.
