in an emergency it pays to have your Aunty. 5.30am fire alarm goes off in apartment with a voice over intercom telling us the alarm has been activated and stand by for further instructions. My Aunty flies out of bed, with her pjs on, grabs her purse, shoes on, grabs a jkt - while I am in a daze she begins frantically saying cindy quick get up, get your bag, shoes, hurry, hurry, come on! we race out to corridor and we were def the first out there waiting our next instruction. False alarm thankfully but heres me worrying about what to put on in case cute fireman, and my Aunty was thinking shit we r on the 9th floor, how many stairs we have to go down. all I know she was like an army major or something telling me to move it etc. AND she never did wait for those further instructions, she was getting out of the building!
