...in search of genesis of my-Sef-genetics-inheritance....I FIND TODAY Edupayala Vana Durga Bhavani Devastanam - A vEDik TEMPLE DEDICATED TO DuARgaa-DEvii ( a partial incarnation of BHnEshvrii-DEvii = physical manifestation of the Creator) AND ITS GENESIS LIES IN THE mHaaBHaart ERA of some 5200 YEARS AGO.... .......With regards to the temple origin, there is a story prevailed in mythologies that the king Parikshittu, the son of Abhimanyu and grand son of Arjunaa in Mahabharatha, came for hunting animals to this forest area. After some time he felt thirsty and went sage, who was in deep meditation (thapassu) and requested for water to ride of his thirsty. Due to in deep mediation, the sage could not listen his request. Felting this insult, the king put a dead snake across the sage’s neck and went home. Noticing this after opening his eyes, the sage cursed the king for dying with a snake bite. As a result, the king parikshittu was died of a snake bite. Knowing this and take revenge, the king Janamejya, the son of king Parikshittu performed Sarpa yaga at this place, where the temple is located, to eliminate the entire snake community, the goddess Ganga came to the earth from heven to put out the yagna flames and to save the snake community (Sarpa Jati). In this process, the Goddess Garuda Ganga touched the feet of goddess Vana Durga Mata who was originated in deep rock cave. Still there is belief that where it dug there come out ash which is the sign of Yaga performed. (from internet : ) ...but this sharing hit my thinking-mind today from one of the Indian-news-feed I receive about Inidas cultural-civilization-history....which I have hyperlinked below as part of my continuing daily study to find the genesis of my own genetic-inheritance which has made me who I am throughout my life-travel which in turn has been adapted by ecorithms of my life-travel to date with all the major life-styles on Asia-Africa-North American continents..... indianetzone/71/edupayala_vana_durga_bhavani_devastanam.htm?utm_source=9266_5_18072014
