in the 700s...(thats a very long time ago) The first Football games played in Britain was played by the locals of east of England, starting after a legendary game that involved kicking around the severed head of a Danish prince that they have defeated in a war. These games were violent, where injury and death were not uncommon. America was not invented until (discovered) until 1492....the game you yanks call football was not played until the mid-19th century and was derived from British rugby football. You really should call your pointless game played in body armor american rugby. im starting a campaign to have the word soccer removed from earth.....its football, there is no such thing as american English....its just English.
