in what has been an interrupted build up in pre season, we managed to get a team together for a friendly this morning,, we have had only a handful of sessions since april due to close season, hols and all sorts of other stuff.. in the game today we were obviously going to be ring rusty and we tried some different things our play,, retain better posession of the ball and use the warm ups to build the fitness levels up.. in todays game, we were very pleased with our forward play and our 2 trialists were very impressive in the second half,, credit to our no 16 who played in goal to help out, and he deserves a pat on the back, despite the defeat,, we scored some great goals and missed a glut of chances to have scored over a dozen, but it gives us something to work on for the next game next week, where we can hopefully improve and utilise our options even more,, well done team
