inbox - Hello x may i have a pp? My lb is 16 months old and Im feeling quite down atm. I work part. Due to my mum having an op (my usual childcare) he goes to his grannies when i work. But he wont settle.... I hate leaving him crying. She has been honest and says hes settling more now i know she is good with him, but my oh picks him up as i work later.. So i worry he is angry at me for leaving him and not coming back for him:( hes been smacking as well atm... But his older brother (10 year gap) has encouraged it by laughing and play fighting with him but Im worried hes frustrated and Im ruining our bond? Do u think this is normal? Also Im trying to get him to stay in his cot at night as he usually wakes and comes into my bed for a bottle and i let him stay there when he falls back asleep but he cries when i tey to put him back and i ended up crying too last night with my arm smoothing him through the cot while he smoothed my hair. He did drop back off but am worried how hes feeling as i dont want him to feel neglected by me?? Any advice is welcome. My oh and daughter ( theres a big gap in age) says Im over worrying and i guess its my fault for pampering him so much. But i lost a baby at 16 weeks and had to deliver him a few years ago so just try and make sure my children know how much i love them. Tia x Whitney xx
