insert 04 on my way home i saw DJ and his two sidekicks sitting in a corner ngasekhaya. Gosh am so not in the mood of chit chatting to this guy. but there is no turning back, its the only way eya ekhaya, besides i cant keep on playing hide and sick with him. i kept my head high and keep on going with confidence, i went passed them, DJ started calling me just when i was few meters away. DJ: hey Kit Kat. Gosh, if only he knew how much i hate that pet name. Me: hi unjani? DJ: am good now, since i just saw an angel on earth. am so not in the mood for this guy. one of his frend starting approaching me, he kept on staring at me like am some kind of a zombie or statue. Me: its rude to stare, did nt your mamma taught u that. Guy: eish babegal, am sorry, just admiring Gods creation. umile mntwana. DJ: u being out of line now Tee. just go. i just taught to myself, our parents gave us names with a meaning, yet we change them, DJ and Tee? what kind of names are those? yes we are 16 just like Lulu said but seriously we can do much better than that. Me: mom is probably wondering where i am, i have to go. DJ: its okay babes , can i have a hug. Me: sorry. i cant. while we were still at that Percy just came from nowhere with that gielfrend of his. they were holding hands, i just thought; its now or never. Me: fine DJ, i will give u a hug, if thats the only thing that will let you to allow me to go home. i gave DJ a hug, and he kissed me in the forehead, Percy kept on looking at us, i guess Lulu s plan is waiting after all. i went home with a big grin in my face, not because i got a kiss from DJ, but because i saw the effect it had on Percy. i cant wait to tell Lulu, finally i got Percy to notice me. at home i did my chores as usual, than i went to my room and check my phone. no missed call, no sms, am probably better off without it, its only good in games and clock. i slept like a baby that night. i woke up the ff morning at around 05:45, get ready for school, and off i went. on my way to Lulus house i saw Nkule (Percys gf) she was with her frend. just when i was passing them Nkule said something and they started laughing hysterical. i just knew ukuthi they were gossiping about me. i did nt care though. am not gonna entartain them. Nkule just lost all my respect. i hate an insecure being. and right now she was insecure. i met up with Lulu, who was still mad about yesterday. Me: hi chomie Lulu: hi Me: did i say something? Lulu: no Me: than whats wrong chomie? Lulu: are u seriously asking me that, after the way okhulume ngayo izolo. with me, your best frend, but you chose to side naloma griza wakho. thanx Katlego, finally i know where i stand with you. Me: you can be so dramatic sometimes. let me know when you ready to talk to me. i just walked away and left her standing there. there were a group of guys in front of us. and we are on the same class. i joined them. we chatted about everything; from soccer, to maths, and lot of stuff. i felt welcomed for once. and i felt like these were my real frends unlike Lulu and Wandi. soon enough we were at school. and i was back to my crazy self. i really enjoy being here. Wandi came and greeted me with tge usual hug and kiss. Wandi: i have to tell you something. Me: sure. what is it? Wandi: promise me you wont get mad. Me: you know me better, i wont. i promise. Wandi: i think Lulu have a crush on Percy. Me: hahahaha. what? Lulu? our Lulu? no girl, you losing it now. Wandi: serious, ive thought about it, Why on earth will she want you to date DJ, she knows if Percy can saw you with DJ, he will never try to date you. phela nawe uyazi. UDJ u Mike Tyson wesikole. Me: yazi girl, i think its high time you get yourself a man. you have a lot of time in your hands and you end up not knowing what to do with it, bese uza nalezi tory zakho. Wandi: what do yu mean chomie? Me: get a man and get a life, uphume kimi. i did nt wait for a reply, i just walked away, i never thought there will be a day where my frends will be plotting against each other. for what? am done with boys.
