inthe case of laws relating to marriage and divorce, three attempts were made to pass the BILL drafted by the commission was defeated by parliament.on all these attempts,the main grounds for failure to enact the law were that it was purportedly an assault on local customs or had granted too many rights to women, therefore coming to the very point of the new proposed marriage bill 2013 will not sail through with my view that wemen given such powers, they will rulle men, the duties performed by man will no longer exsist and this wil be contraly to our customes,and taboos in Africa, therefore its my prayer that this BILL must be defeated by the parliament cos the majority inthe house are men, THIS BILL HAS NO VALUE IN OUR CULTURE,and therefore an assault on our local customes SAY NO MEN thank you
