………………………….is 20years already! Lost words to update you Maisa, mana, udo di. Recounting how it has been with us all through these 20years,……….aka Chukwu di ya. My last update to you caused uproar among those who were guilty of their acts towards us. You saw it. You told me about their reactions too, but they never summoned courage to speak out or front me maka udo ji agu. Recounting my last 48hours with you Onye Nkuzi,I never knew that my tour with you all through Urualla Mbiagu that 2days was a formal handover and orientation tour. H.O,all you left are still intact except those they dispossessed us of due greed, but Madam (your wife) will always say if one door close, another will open. Recounting that fateful day, how Late Mr. Ngumoha (a.k.a Mr Okpu) God bless his soul, broke the news to your brothers, though I wasn’t there, but I saw him with them and through there displays know something was wrong because he was supposed to be in the team that left for Okigwe with You. I still recall how St. John’s Cath. Chur. Urualla was thrown into a state of entropy when your demise was announced and the good roles played by Ndi Urualla and Fr. Ngwumohaike too. I watched with tears how Bena trekked from home through Amube to Eluama (St Andrew’s) Primary School where she was posted as their HM. Even though she was in school when you left us. Ikenna nwannem na Chizitere was on vacation at Onitsha. I was left with you, Kachi and Tochi that Period. Though Ikenna and Zitere came back in a jiffy, Ike cldnt make any meaning on the crowd he saw in the house. He was busy playing with his dog Jimmy that he missed all these while, Tiger the bigger dog was at the other side dazed! Even the fruits you planted knew you have left us because no one call them those names you do call them and they never beard fruits for 2years till you recalled those names to me & I started talking to them and they blossomed again. We never dwelled in a pity state as few taught. God made way for us! Your legacies saw us through. People talk more about you. Even I get embarrassed sometimes in the market na Afor Urualla where I will go to buy some stuffs and to the amazement of Bena,I will return with both the stuffs and money because the sellers refused blatantly to collect money from me but keep pouring sympathies. Nnam,I had a short stay with you. Watching my friends and cousins crack jokes with their fathers at this our grown up age is always accompanied with mixed feellings, because I never had such. I questioned why good people don’t last. The Psalmist said God recalls good people on hand to avoid them see corruption, and that the just live by faith. I wasn’t satisfied by this answer humanly, but I have no option than to live by faith. You groomed us within those few years with the right way to live and relate with people. You created lively conscience in us and that have kept us going. How people talk about you makes me sometimes as if I even have a shallow knowledge about you and your good works, but I know despite all odds that I have a first-hand intel of you because you are my father and I lived with you. Where ever we go, it is either I ran across your classmates or your students or people whom you affected their lives positively. The best thing you did for me was to bread in in the village! It gave me a high class advantage and made me fall in love with nature and culture/traditions. You were a great Educationist. Your impact on the making of the map of Urualla and Ideato and your contributions at different levels of your life were awesome! Mazi Mgbike Hilary Ejioffor Ohaejesi “Mgbike H.E.O” as you fondly lay your names on your works, biko aghakwala iloro mu uwa!!! I won’t be complete if you do not reincarnate in my family and that of my siblings and those who were nice to you and us too. One of the boys you reincarnated as had all the indelible marks of you that we need not to go to afa-agu and inquire. ……………………..though nwata ahu ru ajo aghugho……….. (lafs). We will keep doing the needful to make up all you never achieved. Your wife Bena is fine and we are all doing our best to make her feel good. Keep being there for us. Kelerem umunne gi gi na ha no ebe ahu Especially Anyaeji ,Ukachukwu na F.O Ogbaegbe Please help me tell them that ha lokwara mu uwa!
