is amazed by how many people he actually knows. Well, know being a flexible term considering a lot of folks on his friends list he has seen around but have yet to strike up a meaningful conversation. Arlee pow wow was a great opportunity to engage in some get-to-know conversations but there always lurks that odd Facebook Friends phenomena: talk online; avoid in real life. Such an insane concept but he himself is guilty of this as well because he is mystified on how to break the ice. One could say simply walking up to a person and introducing yourself is one way but, oddly, it doesnt seem entirely appropriate somehow. Weird creeper vibe, maybe? Another way is to chip away one piece at a time: head nod> smile> say, hi> say a bit more, are you done with that apple core?> conversate> boom: real life friends. Either way, he feels maybe people ought to challenge themselves and make an effort to talk to people (...within a reasonable distance) they know only through Facebook. He likes that idea and will give a good effort. But if you are not real life friends and notice him looking at you with a dumbfounded expression, it is because he has no clue how to initiate first contact and is not a psycho killer imagining what your brains tastes like. This whole idea only came about because he just had gone on an Unfriending spree this morning and you, vigilant viewer, had survived it for one reason or another. For now.
