is grateful to have navigated icy roads on Monday and returned with reasonable daylight from fbx with plenty groceries and missy supplies. to sit out the rest of this month in my warm cozy apartment. the snow that came yesterday probably made the already icy roads all the more treacherous. saw a couple vehicles in the ditch as I went through. I barely broke 50mph the whole way. was not the best of conditions. another couple inches snow yesterday will no doubt make the road glaze worse, but we were done, off the road, relieved to be home with full cupboards. now I can hunker down another month or so, work and take care of my village obligations such as tribal court, as I have today. not sure what the temp is but the chimney across the street says it is pretty chilly, as fluffed up raven in the parking lot hops sideways in his parka leaning into an easterly wind, an occasional wing flap to regain ground and balance.
