is thinking today about how blessed I am to witness the miracles of God on the regular. This week, I celebrated with my family as we witnessed my cousin, Jackie Weez Brown, return to life. Less than a month ago, our family met at the hospital to make some decisions about her care. We were told that there was no more treatment that could be done, she would never come out of the catatonic state, she would never speak again, sit up, eat again or breathe on her own. The only positive thing they said was that her brain was still functioning properly. How many of you know a mind is a terrible thing to waste. The body must submit to the authority of the mind. Every time we visited her, we spoke to her mind and spirit through prayer and supplication with thanksgiving. I will honestly admit that doubt occasionally entered our minds about her situation turning around, yet in those moments we stood on each others faith. On Wednesday, I saw something strange on her FB page thanking family and friends for loving her and wishing her well. I assumed one of her children had updated her status(I later found out she typed and posted on her own). I had no idea that when I visited on Thursday that JB(as my husband and I call her) would be sitting up, talking, laughing, joking, giving orders, eating ice chips and applesauce. When she saw me, she started exclaiming her thanks to Jesus and proclaiming Gods goodness, words I had never heard from her lips. She mentioned that her doctors are marveled at her progress and have called her THEIR success story. I take nothing from them and their medical intervention. How many of you know though that it was the fervent, effectual prayers of the righteous that availed much. Please keep my cousin in your prayers. She has a long road of recovery ahead. I pray that those that dont know Jesus as their personal Savior will witness her remarkable transformation and will submit to Gods leadership and authority through Jesus the Christ over their lives by confessing with their mouths The Lord Jesus and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the death, so then they will be saved. I also pray that Jackie will grow strong in The Lord and the power of his might and will continue to bless The Lord, oh her soul, and all that is within her bless his Holy Name. #Godisallthat #whatafriendwehaveinJesus
