it fits right in with one of my pet peeves (a subcategory of the deserve fallacy): that there even IS a phrase like earn love. love is not earned. ever. the object may or may not be worthy. entirely irrelevant and muddies the water greatly. LOVE is both the expression as well as the perception and feeling of the one who loves and has little to do with the object or being loved back and such like. thus its danger and its joys.
