it seems like my guards always down. like i keep most things on the surface. but the more you get to know me the more clear itll become that i always keep my guard up. i dont believe in trusting people. because everyone has hidden motives. i dont believe in expecting anything from anyone. because thats just room for disappointment. i dont believe in relying on anyone other than myself. because when it comes down to it, you gotta have ur own back. i dont believe in letting anyone else affect my mindset. i do whatever i do and i do it alone. i have plenty of people on my side. but the only people i carry with me in my heart are my angels. and thats because i know they are stronger and higher than i am.
