it was so hard to leave Dallas!! Sean and Josh wouldnt let me go!!! lol, and then after that it was a 10 hour drive... im never doing that again x_x that was a horrible idea - but at least i got to catch up with people! Talked to my mom, my dad, Zoe, Bear, Jenny , Ashley and Vash! at around 1am i finally got to my hosts place and ended up talking with Larry Bach over a glass of wine to counteract the redbulls id been downing to stay awake. then i passed out in an adorable loft bedroom that belongs to his daughter Sheer (jewish for song i think) but shes studying abroad at the moment :) the next morning i did my yoga again for the first time, had a nice long conversation with Carly ^_^ it was so nice to catch up, i feel so far away from t.c. anymore... then i putzed around til noon when Alanna (Larrys wife) made the best lunch ever! (handmade veggie patties for burgers, some awesome bean salad, and roasted chili peppers)!! i met two other couchsurfers (Zoe and Lauren) sisters traveling all over with mostly trains and a few busses. Zoe and i spoke french :D so awesome, i wish wed had more time to get to know each other, she was so cool. after she and her sister left i hung around the house, read some American Gods, then went to dinner with Alanna and Larry . We had some drinks and vegan taco plates, talked about travels and the lame bartender and then me and Larry went shopping for stuff to make todays dinner with (grape leaves, israeli salad and hummus!) after which i read more Gaiman and then Alanna came home with Helaine (whos into acro yoga!!! totally wanna try that now :D sounds really cool) and we talked about all the different couchsurfers whove come through here (and Ariel Zlatkovski was apparently one of their guests!! super cool to stay somewhere he did ^_^ its such a small world afterall). then i passed out... at 1:30... two hours later than planned :3 today, i woke up to a cleaning lady freaking out cause nobody usually stays in Sheers room but this chick with blue dreads was definitely in her bed and not Sheer! did my yoga (got up to 5 pushups in my chuttarunga substitution!) then played on the internet, cooked with Alanna for 3 hours, wen to joanns to buy fabric for asunas costume, went to a Jewish mass... (hey Ethan, whats it called?) it was really cool actually :) i really enjoyed singing in hebrew! then came back home, only to realize my car was making scary sounds... we had dinner, and i decided to stay til morning to get my car diagnosed in a shop... THE END but not really :P hopefully ill be back on the road soon :/ keep your fingers crossed its nothing too bad!
