it will be eleven years ago this morning at 5:15 A.M when Vanderbilt called the family in and said there is no more we can do. Either you make the decision they said or we will. She can no longer go on in this condition. Oh my heart was tore right out of my chest and handed right to me. I struggled all day to do what i thought was best or should i say i fought with what I thought was best for me.. I wanted to keep her with me. I was sure she would come out of a coma. She had always prevailed before, Maranda she was tough, she had proven that so many times. When no one else thought she stood a chance she came through. She shined bright with a smile that could light the world in its darkest times.On that faithful day the family and friends gathered round for that final goodbye! I prayed hard she would breathe on her own, i was sure once more she would prove those doctors wrong. I laid my heart against hers and i placed it all in Gods hands. That night i witnessed an Angels journey home. At 12:20 a.m on August 12th 2003 An angel came and took my baby home. My heart is so heavy and it is burdened with a hurt that will never ever be healed. I pray for the day i will hold her hand and look into her precious face and tell her i have missed her and i am so glad to be with her once again. if you have a child today that is healthy please take them in your arms and tell them how much you love them. Hold them close and thank your good lord above for them for you never know how long you have for tomorrow is never promised. I miss you Maranda Renea Lee and i love you with every ounce in my body. My life has an empty void that can never be filled. I long for the day i can be with you. In the mean time i will wait patiently and i will love your brother William-Heather Lee and your little sister Ch elsie Escue and someday when it is in Gods will we be a family again. Rest baby Girl at the foot of God for someday we will again be as One! I love you with all my heat and soul.....
