its a disgrace in this (county anyway) that the junior hurlers dont get as much respect and the format for the championships is done anyway.Imagine 4 teams in a division and you have to play each of the 3 teams before a semi final which your guaranteed anyway. a waste of time but only our county board would have to make it awkward. In 2010 there was alot of fog around gaelic grounds yet they let the county final take place eventually it was abandoned but what if someone was injured??? what about the commitment they made to that day???? in the south you could play a team 4 times and still not get anywhere.... the west has more teams in it than people in a north korean prision camp its a disgraceand i hope its changed because they are hurlers too and they make a commitment like senior and intermediates the standard may be lower and we may make banter which is fine but the treatment junior players get is very poor and unacceptable. that is just my opinion and there is some very talented players from junior clubs but dont get the chance to play against similiar players especially now since the divisional teams are gone which is a disgrae aswell. again just my opinion-sledge
