its good dat u provide brothers and sisters here wit career opportunities ..however i dont think that our religion encourages employment in d banks coz of their involvement in interest.. transactions wt dem dat do not involve interest like opening accounts r permissible(but i will come back to this), but borrowing is frowned upon since it involves interest..it may be said dat afterall I am not working in d money borrowing section, but in d IT section, so i dont av any business with d interest, but d ruling there is dat as long as u work at d bank den u r aiding deir interest operations.. it is generally best to avoid employment in the banks and ask Allah for a sustainable halaal source of income. As for opening accounts in d banks, it is an evil difficult to avoid by most of us..because we have to keep our money safe..and dere is no way dat some interest wudnt climb a persons money dat is kept in d bank. Dis is y d Rasuul peace be on him said that some elements of interest wud definitely affect people of his ummah even if dey try hard to avoid it..but d point here is dat interest based organizations shud be avoided as places of employment.. and Allah knows best
