its weird, at one point it was doing art, just to do art and get better... and people constantly told me, you should build a portfolio, and I would explain to them I was a vagabond, and i couldnt carry it.... i was building myself toward having a camera and a computer. and i got those things eventually, and i would paint, especially at the hostel, for free, and people would tell me, i should sell my work, or that i should make them ridiculously intricate art that would take me hours for twenty bucks ( i sometimes would do it for weed )... and id say i was building an online portfolio, i was just doing the art for the photograph to post online, and ive been trucking away at it, and it suddenly occurred to me that i have nearly 50 pieces in that portfolio, some Im more proud of then others... since ive been doing the comic book characters recently Im starting to catch on with fanart groups and stuff, finally my stuff is starting to get passed around, especially since i drew batgirl, just always surreal when you reach a mile marker after years of slowly plodding toward a goal, but its nice cos its given me some needed fire in my belly to crank out more doodles.
