ive said a lot lately about ask for an opinion and then beat us up when we give it too you. every judge takes an oath before each BBQ contest to Objectively and Subjectively judge each meat presented.. Objective is fact-based, measurable and observable. However, Subjective is based on personal opinions, interpretations, points of view, emotions and judgment. so.. dont ask for a subjective opinion if you dont want to hear what we have to say. We are really only trying to help! :) PS.. if you ever cook MEMPHIS.. dont turn in a spare rib. Regardless of what the rules say.. it better be a baby back or you aint winning anything.. just so you know!! its what they refer to as an UN WRITTEN rule. :)
