The Green Economics Institute is organising a one-day conference in London on Friday 31st January to discuss the challenges of a common European future. This conference aims to tackle the need for Europe to start the long process of creating a feeling of citizenship and belonging without upsetting peoples’ real need for their own distinctive identity. It also focuses on the contribution green ideas are making to the Europe of the future. What has happened to Democracy in the seat of its origin?
