just about a month ago,anas aremayaw anas conducted investigation into workings at DVLA which brought to light that,indeed,mentally-deranged people are being issued with genuine drivers licence. however,such a serious development which has direct negetive impact on road safety,was not given any attention both by the state and the media because npp was gearing up for mational delegates confetence and entire nations attention was firmly focused on cacophonous political noise-making. but following a series of fatally fatalistic fatal road accidents over the weekend with the loss of over 22 precious lives,including some top officials of the ruling ndc,this mornings discussions on all radio,tv,chop bars,drinking spots,in trotros,taxis etc.,are have focused on safety on our roads. so the question is; why do ghanaians have this chronic habit of always wasting precious time and energy on totally nonsensical matters,only to be hit with a tragically tragic tragedy,then,we suddenly come back to our senses? indeed,we are a nation of talkers with neither a sense of direction nor urgency.GOD HELP US!!! our thoughts and prayers are with the families that have lost loved ones in these unfortunate tragedies.
