~ just how freaking DESPERATE are these telemarketing scammers people anyway nowadays? I get a phone call from a guy (heavy Indian accent- so HARD to understand him- constantly I am saying what?) he says he works for Microsoft and that my computer has been hijacked with a virus.... blah blah blah. Its infecting my software blah blah blah... I told him my computer is fine, its getting tuned up right now as we speak and that Im not interested in talking to (him)... after a couple more minutes of listening to his BS sales pitch... I said ok, I need to go. Telemarker: why dont you want to talk to me? I want to talk to you. Me: I just dont Telemarketer: can I call you later? Me: no Im not interested in talking to you, have a good day Telemarketer: but why? I want to get to know you, I love you. Me: uh, yeah, I have to go now Telemarketer: where do you have to go? Me: ummmm, I have to go shopping Telemarketer: what shop you work at? Me: no, *shopPING, shop-ping*, as in grocery shopping!? Telemarketer: oh, grocery shopping ... what are you shopping for? Me: groceries Telemarketer : oh ok, so how old are you? Me: Im not telling you my personal information. Telemarketer: why not... I twenty-two, I love you, I want to marry you Me: (CLICK ) I hung up the phone- seriously now.... who falls for his crap? At least take me to dinner before you propose! GEEZ! :-P haha- but obviously i need to learn some skills from David Goff on how to handle these Telemarketers better. ;-)
