just reading about Keystone XL(David Suzuki going to Washington), and thinking about the Prime Ministers statement that we wont take no for an answer; the pipeline must be built. just wondering how many Americans know how our election process differs from theirs, and that the Prime Minister is elected in one Riding(electoral district) just like every other member of Parliament(and has only one vote), and that Stephen Harpers home Riding just happens to be in Calgary, the same City that is home to the head office of almost every Oil Co. operating in Alberta. the reality is that you are going to need this oil, its just a matter of time, but I think it only fair that we all understand why the Prime Minister is so gung-ho for this pipeline; he wants to get re-elected in 2 years.
