just wanted to express a personal thank~you for the light that comes from the many portals of/from this group. In my many journeys of so many roads....one of my more important satories happened back in 1968 as a combat medic in Vietnam. It was there, that I discovered the Philosophy of Buddhism....I stress the word philosophy..... I have been questioning everything my entire life...pick up what works and leave behind what does not. In the current debates and with the new Cosmos series now being shown....I am finding the conversations here thoughtful, as from the same light as Richard Dawkins books. I do not find personal expression easy, but I felt I wanted to add my personal validation to the real illumination that is expressed by the many gifted writers and moderators.... living my life, without a net. I am Atheist with a side order of philosophy.
