kc~ So several of you have asked me about where to send items to help the tornado victims from my hometown of Kokomo, IN --- heres what I was able to find via the Kokomo Perspective FB page --- this is a local news publication --- The Kokomo Perspective From the Kokomo Rescue Mission Here is a list of the items being requested for Tornado Relief: Non-perishable food items such as - canned foods including: soups, chili, stew, spaghetti, ravioli, fruits and vegetables peanut butter, energy bars, bottled water, gatoraide, baby formula Household items: manual can openers, plastic containers, blankets, zip-seal bags, batteries, new flashlights, basic first aid items -bandages, antibiotic cream, trash bags and cleaning supplies Personal hygiene items: diapers, wipes, shampoo, deodorant, soap New socks, underwear and hats gently used or new coats. NOT NEEDED - electronics and used clothing items Donations should be taken the Tornado Relief warehouse located a 500 E. Wheeler (at the corner of Wheeler and Home Ave). Warehouse hours are: 10 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday, and 11 AM to 2 PM Saturday. Please continue to pray for our community!
