last Friday was a pretty busy day for us... we were told that Indiana congressman Randy Frye could spare a couple minute out of his day to meet with us to discuss next years project . then we had to travel to cinncinatti for another meeting...on the way we stopped at a gas station and while I was in line there was a boy about 9-10 yrs old lookin at the candy rack and lookin at the money in his hand...I dont know why he caught my attention but he did...he looked over the racks and prices and finaly grabbed his choice....I paid for my drink and went outside...this kid walks out and there was a man sitting there holding a cup , kid drops his change into the cup and of course the man sys thank you...his mother was pumpin gas and I heard her say to the boy what did you do that for we dont give you an allowance to waste it ,and give it away...the boy said I just wanted to help alittle...she barked and he got in the car...when she finished pumping her gas she got in the car and thats when I walked over and said excuse me...I said I had seen the boy in the store chooseing his candy ,and his gift to the homeless man . gave her my card and a quick run down of what we do...and then I asked if it would be alright if I gave the boy a small reward for his kind heartedness...I asked the boy how much did you give that man ?..he said about 50 cents so I gave him 5 dollars...good deads should come back ten fold I think...he looked at his mom with the most unbelievable ha ha grin and I laughed... we teach by our lead, our kids,our friends and our peers...lets not rais the next generation to be as callus as us or worse...dont toughen a heart, the world will unfortunately take care of that...its our job to find compassion after wadeing through the hell this world has dealt us and to hold on to our humanity. show others that ugly dose not win...oh and our second meeting for the day...well that went extreamly well...ELITE WELDING ACADEMY of cinncinatti is now partnering up with us for next years project...and I am back on our back orders...
