last day … boo hoo … anyway despite the (again) rainy start the weather gods smiled and the sun came out, pity about the 20 knots plus wind, great providing if you want to make 100m casts not so good for working lures, the trip out was punctuated with a crazy mahi mahii bust up, tommy hooked up but lost it due to lure failure, he was very understanding about it (not) the day was a steady affair of red bass and small GTs, Dave got very excited when a behemoth of a mouri wrasse cruised up inspect the stick bait, but decided it wasnt to her taste, plenty of lure offerings were made to the fishing gods, remarkably Brian only donated one, Duo lures killed the pig for the day with Darren getting plenty of action on red bass and small GTs, Tommy had a PB long nose and gave us all a laugh why engaging in long tom wrestling with a fin toothy specimen which was intent on tagging him. Lesson for the day was … bananas on the boat dont make a difference … moce(goodbye in Fiji)
