..last game of the season. Two outs, game is out of reach. The count is 2&2. Batter drops a hit into short right. The ball hits at the feet of the right fielder who misses the catch. The ball rolls past. Batter turns to second and runs hard, shoving the first baseman out of te way. He should be thrown out at 2, but the throw from right is off the mark. Runner makes the turn at 2nd. Short is pulled toward the infield grass to field the bad throw from right, and catches the ball with his back to second base. The crazed Runner runs right past him only halfway to 3rd. Short is caught off guard by the runner and throws it into the ground in front of his third baseman. 3rd misses the catch! Not missing a beat the runner pounds third turning hard toward home. At full speed running home, the throw is on its way from near the opponents dugout. Runner slides into home just before the ball arrives. SAFE! When the box doesnt hold what you are looking for, take a peek outside! Some cool stuff out there ! Thank you inspiring Ryan.
