last nite I saw where TODAY MARCH 29th 2014 is dedicated as THE VIETNAM VETERANS DAY..in response to this ..I HUMBLY THANK EACH AND EVERY VIETNAM VETERAN WHO SERVED IN ANY CAPACITY DURING THIS CONFLICT. To those who gave the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE I SALUTE YOU.. TO those who were wounded in any form / some having life long wounds which may NVR heal I SALUTE YOU....I have but ONE request to anyone seeing my words SALUTE and THANK VIETNAM VET TODAY show your support and THANKS to ALL who served There are many in the tri states I PERSONALLY SALUTE RONNIE McMILLAN who was a classmate of mine in 1968 in Hamilton IL. wiho died in 1969 in Vietnam on his way to the airport to come home I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER ZIPPO.and ALL his orneriness and humor and open attitude about life Wish I could see and thank Ronnie FOR HIS SERVICE IN PERSON.....UNLESS YOUVE WALKED THE WALK YOU CANT UNDERSTAND THE FEELINGS VIET VETEANS HAVE FOR EACH OTHER REGARDLESS OF WHAT BRANCH YOU SRVED IN.........THANKS
