leaders of both the Congress and the BJP would have had heart attack this morning on seeing the poll survey published in THE HINDU.As analyst T.Ramakrishnan has put it : it is totally unrealistic. After covering both the parties for the past 36 years, i wonder whether their candidates would get even deposit.To predict double digit- 18 per cent for Congress and 12 for BJP- is probably the worst that could have been envisaged in the political scenario.However much it is slighted by the AIADMKDMK, the Congress keeps on riding piggyback because it knows full well that it will be able to secure not even a single assemblyLok Sabha seat.The survey might be right regarding the strength of others.But I feel sorry about its findings regarding the great national parties who have ceased to behave so, except in rhetoric.
