let food be your servant not your master. I can testify to the claims in the video Traveling to a really cold climate has spiked my appetite at odd hours. Yesterday, I reached for processed holiday chocolates. Ate them. Enjoyed them. However, I didnt particularly enjoy the idea of going into the inevitable glycemic crash within a half hour. So I then reached for some dark grapes in the fridge and ate all those, too. I did it for a cleansing effect not appreciating that it would inhibit the glycemic crash, which indeed never happened. Incidentally, when you clean your system aka detox, you become very sensitive to processed foods. For example, one bite of chocolate can send me down to a nap. If I ever want to take a nap in the middle of the day, all I need to do is eat a loaf of bread; thereby, spike insulin levels and then go into a state of depleted energy or hypoglycemia.
