lets get this straight... The untrained police officer Hoepper said that he shot the 72 year old Waller 6 times because he “felt threatened.” by the 72 year old Jerry Wayne Waller inside his own garage early Tuesday. the 72 year old heard his neighbor’s home alarm system sound across the street, so he grabbed his gun and began walking over to investigate his neighbors house to see what the problem was because he could hear the alarm going off and thought his neighbor was in distress, so the cop (Keep in mind, the cop was at the wrong house) felt threatened by the old man (despite the fact that he was inside his own garage and was getting ready to walk towards the neighbors with the alarms blaring) so despite the fact the cop was at the wrong address and shot him inside his own garage 6 times as fast as he could pull the trigger, so instead of ordering the guy to drop the gun, the so called scarred cop shot the old man 6 times repeatedly until he was dead (getting rid of the only witness) and the cops say this? “I think it was proven through the autopsy and evidence that a gun was pointed directly at Officer Hoeppner and he was forced to make his decision,” which is obviously a cover story to protect their own (and why all cops are now treated as being above the law, and can commit murder and get away with it) Even the family is stated that the department had been “feeding misinformation” to the local news and to the public, so once again a cop is being treated like he is above the law, wit it being OK to murder the 72 year old man (being armed on your own property should not carry the death sentence). You would think the noise should have been a clue for the cop, that he was at the wrong place. Waller’s wife Kathy told NBC DFW she was “disgusted” by the incident, describing the officers as “trigger happy.” This shooting comes only days after police in Fort Worth botched a drug raid, killing an asthmatic man in his own home. officers raided the man’s home on May 16 looking for cocaine, but found none. According to witnesses, the man “had his hands behind his back the whole time,” but couldn’t breathe on the floor as he was overweight and suffered from asthma. They said the man “was shocked with a Taser at least twice; then stopped breathing and died.”. Earlier this year, we covered how police were being conditioned not to hesitate to shoot when confronted with a gun-toting member of the public.(meaning anyone but the police were to be shoot and killed on the spot if they were to have a gun, which would include open carrying a handgun (or even a rifle), and especially kids playing in their yards with airsoft guns! In February, we reported the Department of Homeland Security held a $2 million dollar contract with Law Enforcement Targets, Inc., a shooting range target manufacturer that produced shooting targets depicting armed elderly citizens, pregnant women and children in residential settings. Dubbed “No More Hesitation” targets, one of the company’s phone representatives told a caller the targets were produced at the request of law enforcement for training purposes. Undoubtedly, the targets were intended to desensitize police to the idea of shooting gun-owning American citizens, as police in Fort Worth so excellently demonstrated.
