In a democracy, people must be prepared before they are asked to cast their votes and for that purpose, media must be allowed to give all information to the people. The people in politics must be clear and they must give to the people their proposed policies and targets and also their shadow cabinets and the media must be given sufficient time to place all these things before the people so that they could decide in whose favour they should vote for. At present the nation is not well informed. One set of people have been branded and the other set of people are not in a position to make the things clear before the people. The political parties are without policies and targets and even they are not in a position to place before the nation their shadow cabinets. It seems the people who have already been branded one way or the other shall be placed before the people and the people having no alternatives with them shall be casting their votes without a will. If elections are held in the present situations, we shall not be electing a popular government. The next government shall be just a fill in the blank.
