letter Selection of ministers through advertisement We, the people of India are a leaderless country. Therefore, Madam Sonia Gandhi had to select a candidate for the post of Prime Minister from the open market. The elections in 2014 shall not give us a list of candidates from which we could be able to select a candidate for the post of Prime Minister and candidates for filling posts of other ministers. Therefore, we should start trying tracing and identifying competent people for the post of Prime Minister and for filling up other posts of ministers. The present system is faulty and because of the fault in choosing the ministers, the people suffer. Mrs. Sonia Gandhi had set an example for us when she selected and appointed Dr. Manmohan Singh as the Prime Minister of India. Had she followed this path in the appointment of other ministers, she could have saved Congress from the bad name these ministers have brought to the party. The parties who shall be forming government next time, they should also follow the course which Mrs. Sonia Gandhi had followed. The others may sit in the houses just to complete the prescribed strength, but in the appointment of ministers, we should be cautious and non-competent people should never be appointed as ministers.
