If these signs of success are evident within the organization then the potential exists is great: First trait: Attitude: Unbinding optimism and curiosity Type of people: Excited and feel sense of mission Prove of behavior: Search intensely or new formation of idea Second trait: Attitude: Future orientation Type of people: Reactive and back word looking Prove of behavior: After Continual fire fighting and proper crisis management and control they begin to work toward that vision. Always handled by emphasizing goals rather than ignoring current problem Third trait: Attitude: Consistency and doggedness Type of people: Perseverant, persistent are hall mark to their effort Prove of behavior: They don’t let their failure stop their momentum. They find going half the way or stopping could be more harmful than not engaging in the process at all. Forth trait: Attitude: A Whole system prospective Type of People: Creative energy Prove of behavior: The ones that are always developed new business model that are previously unthinkable The above mentioned problems (persistent) are symptomatic of deficiencies of governance and leadership within the organization Business models that rely of practices that undermining the health of the workers or their ability to make living wage, destroy local economic system and cultures of degrade the environment are not sustainable even if products meet environmental criteria’s. Organizations that fail to understand this suffer from problems of governance and leaderships. A wheel of Change towards sustainability applies to small and large, public and private sectors: It basically applies to everyone; although it is a long and a slow process, however small firms need to apply the following for driving the wheel for change: Faze one: involve all employees, ensure sustainability focused information readily follows, and mechanisms are well adapted, support continual learning. Faze two: once sufficient time and experience have identified appropriate ways of thinking and behaving triad must become embedded in company policies and procedures. Government program follow similar path: E.g. Dutch government (Concern of Tomorrow) thus seeking to adapt a more sustainable path.
