With all due respect, can you explain yourself please?” John Wanat For years I ran a popular blog called Atheist Central, at which thousands of atheists commented daily. One day I decided that I had had enough of repeating answers to worn out and often dumb questions—Who Made God? Why doesn’t God heal amputees? And the dumbest of all--Why isn’t there any evidence for God? So I closed Atheist Central and started this site for Christians. But thousands of atheists immediately showed up here--when I wanted a break. So I made this site exclusively for Christians. Let’s just say that the bee-keeper decided to eat honey than mess with bees. I still preach open air every week and go to universities regularly, but my primary purpose here is to encourage Christians and share principles to help them share their faith—with people like you. A great preacher once said, “I’d rather set a thousand to work than do the work of a thousand” (D. L. Moody). You guys have the whole Internet to ask your questions, and there are plenty of Christian sites ready and willing to spend time answering them. Again, this site isnt the place for that. This isnt because we are insecure in our faith or that we are afraid to deal with atheists (adversaries). Look on this as you would an atheist site which is exclusively for atheists (there are lots of them). They have their rules and if it means no Christians, I can handle that. Its their site. However, when atheists get banned from here, its as though I banned some of them from breathing. Its no big deal. Really. This is just a dumb old site where a dumb Christian talks with other Christians about the things of God. Now look what youve done. Youve made me spend my time justifying myself to another atheist, once again. :)
