*long post warning* Well, my latest project just wrapped up on my project strat. In the past, its been painted, pickups replaced, reliced and now, yesterday in fact, I rewired everything to turn the lower tone knob into a blend knob. The Blender Mod, if you will For those who dont know, it offers the ability to blend in and out different pickup selections... - Bridge position, you can blend in the neck pickup - Bridge-middle, blends the bridge and middle - Middle...does nothing. Oh well! - Neck-Middle, blends the neck and middle pups - And in the neck position, you can blend in the bridge pickup Overall, fairly simple mod to do. Didnt need any extra parts, just a soldering iron and a free afternoon! I didnt used to like the tones I was getting out of this particular strat, but now I absolutely love playing it! Highly recommend this mod for those who want want even more control of the tonez on their strat!
