long time ago my mother used to head a school that was next to a highway between iganga and busia.almost every year fuel tankers would fall off, catch fire etc...sometimes the people in the area would get free fuel and would sell it for fees for their children.but the legend goes that the tanker drivers used to sell some of this fuel at various stops of their journey (between kenya and uganda) and deliberately roll over the tanks (deliberate accidents) or set it on fire so that their employers would never know how much fuel they sold...could this have been the case with this namugoona fuel tanker?we may never know
