looking back at a discussion I once had with somebody at the time this person was becoming sharply disagreeable in a manner of clearly spitefully contradiction and blatantly trying to be a pain in the ass anyway. it was a remark I made, of a metropolitan giant in the northeast, and its nickname associated with it, the city that never sleeps. new york. instantly, all I hear is NO its las vegas! I could gripe about how this attempt for conversation somehow warranted some of the vitriol and bullshitery to ensue, but Im not so butthurt. the reason was simple. I associated what is known for hustle bustle achievement and accomplishment with being sleepless from a personal standpoint, as well as the template outlined from the ego of a city established over many lifetimes. someone I hadnt previously considered an adversary, even vemomous, must have insisted on sin city, for its reputation of nightlife, vacationing, gambling... sound good? simply, a difference in mentality. one that wanted to get shit done, the other just wanted to party and shit I can live with that!
