mankinds word vs Gods Word My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord; for as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts. isaiah 55 and this, as Gods children, we have reason to expect, since it is promised that the spirit of truth shall guide us into all truth. johm 16. does mankind truly want the Truth of God .... or does mankind want what it can swallow and still feel good about themselves? truth-seekers must empty themselves of all ego. cleanse their minds and body from the muddy waters of the world and traditions and then seek the fountain of truth - Gods Word. one must get rid of all prejudices and realize that none can know more about the Plan than what God has revealed through His Word. no theology, no belief system, should be presented nor accepted unless it meets the scripture test. if what is said is not in there, if what is said goes against the scripture.... then it must not have anything to do with God. in ignorance of Gods plan for the recovery of the world from sin and its consequences, and under the false idea that the nominal church, in its present condition, is the sole agency for its accomplishment, the condition of the world today, after the Gospel has been preached for nearly 20 centuries, is such as to awaken serious doubts in every thoughtful mind so misinformed. ... the various creeds of today teach that all of these billions of humanity, ignorant of the only name under heaven by which we must be saved, are on the straight road to everlasting torment; and not only so, but that all of mankind, except the very few saints, are sure of the same fate. behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people; but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee. and the gentiles/heathen/infidels shall come to thy light. isaiah 66. the Spirit of God, given to guide the church (not the church as people understand it to be today) into truth, will take of the things written and show them unto us; but beyond what is written we need nothing, for the Holy Scriptures are able to make wise unto salvation, through faith which is in Jesus. 2 timothy 3 bring to light the hidden things of darkness. 1 cor 4. the height of expectancy, until then, had been that God would bring a deliverer to save israel( not the country mind you but the people of God) from their enemies, and to exalt them as the chief nation of the earth. this does not mean that everyone that claims belief in Jesus is of israel, but only those that have followed the ways of Gods Word. and yet ... each person believes that they know Gods Word and know the difference between right and wrong. but do you really? mankind cannot see the big picture. i like to think of life as a chess game. most of mankind cannot play the game but has some familiarity of it. unfortunately for mankind ... this is not the truth of the game. if one had ever watched star trek, the chess they play is on three levels. that is the game that is played. so while mankind plays one level of chess... God plays all three. now, some of His servants see the game and play the game on 2 levels ... but most are just the sheep that follow the lead of society. what mankind sees is human but is unable to comprehend the divine. how can mankind which cannot comprehend the complexity of a 3 level chess game ever expect to teach the sheep about life? can one describe the color red to a blind man? what we have in the world today is fiendishness of business competition (usury), war, passion and wrongdoing, antagonism between classes and moral depravity within them, economic tyranny above and lucifer the slave spirit below. and what happens is that people surrender themselves to the thought that this is the way it is, life is hell, conform or die. many wish for the righteousness of God, yet we are unwilling to let it enter into our lives. long ago we set it aside and put it off until later. well, later came and passed. it is almost as if the righteousness of God has become the highest of ideals and we have acted as if we were gods, creators, able to manifest, know, and with ease taken His righteousness under our own management. how arrogant and prideful we are. we are firmly fixed on human righteousness. we are alarmed at every cry of consciousness. but we are not even close to divine righteousness. we call ourselves a christian nation. yet we have no understanding of God and His plan. we follow the word of man over God every day and in every way. this is just good business. and it leads you to eternal damnation. we pray thy Will be done yet just not today, wait for a bit. or worse yet ... thy Will be done .... but do it this way. and then we wonder why things stay the same. we have not changed. as a matter of fact ... we have become much worse as a culture, a society, a race. one needed to seek the humility and the joy of faith. faith means seeking not noise but quiet, and letting God speak (not the internet) within. where there is faith, even in the midst of war, death, money, lust, .. there can be born a new spirit within. the inner way, the way of faith, is the way of Jesus. there are many truths that Jesus has given us. but the simplest is the one that we refuse ... that the way, the Plan was for us to believe that the Fathers Will is truth and must be done. it was that easy. and yet, we chose not to follow His Will. we chose to follow our own. and then we changed HIs Word so that it was easy for us to follow. but many truths can still be found within each of the corrupted versions of the biblical texts out there. so what truths are you willing to follow? the truths of society? the truths of your religious organization/church/mosque/temple/synagogue? the truths your parents passed on to you? the truths your governments tell you? or have you even turned off your silver screen so that you could even hear God? why would He ever try and compete over all the noise you constantly have going on around you. your choice.... the quiet and peace of God ... or the noise and comforts of this world? you cannot have both. which did you choose? so be it. the divine plan of the ages, charles t russell.1916 and the Word of God and the word of man, karl barth,translated in 1956.
