…many of us non politicians thought Atiku could not succeed Obasjano because it was a PDP tradition. Or that he may have bid too high...and it eventually went to those who did not bid for it all and has no business being there in the first place; tribalism and tendencies of nepotism most certainly took them turn even at this… Nigerians know what they want but they will always do it the wrong way and play into the hands of the devil in them to show they are in-charge… but to my surprise, PDP changed tactics during the Yaradua illness which eventually led to his death…Atiku to me, was most qualified to have succeeded Obasanjo in experience and in his calling as VP..Atiku left the PDP in anger and in frustration due to that trade off, a thing that has continued to haunt our so called “king makers” till date. Am happy Atiku is back in the PDP fold, an ideological group he most squarely belongs…Atiku should continue to nurse these same ambitions for along as he feels fit to go for it, because PDP is a strange place where only those that persevere and endure gets anything…Obansanjo was left in prison possibly to die (God forbid)…but PDP would not take that…PDP brought him out and made him president…have we then forgotten so soon how strange PDP can be at times?...PDP can kill and they can cure!! …such that PDP is akin to egedegu himself…any party member who directly or indirectly carries on with nefarious anti-party dealings does so at his or own peril, whether we are doing it covertly in tribalism, if anyone benefitted from the divine largess of the PDP before, this is the time to show solidarity as they say one good turn deserves another… are we then playing champions again?…our maker does everything for them that know Him…those who are ideologically stable should continue to carry them political “cross”…only the enduring who are not bidding too high (on corruption issues) shall suffice…blessed are those who listen to them political mentors on matters of national interest before changing them goal posts…
