match no 43.........Honduras vs Switzerland...............It was more important match for Swiss than Honduras..........Swiss had to beat them convincingly by more than 3 goals if they give themselves any chance to qualify for the last 16...........Switzerland began with attacking mindset right from the whistle went off...........looked to dominate the proceedings...........more attacking men up front to create more and more goal scoring chances and convert those chances...........Swiss kept their defense intact after their poor show against France where they conceded 4 goals....... Xhadran Shaqiri (No. 23) of Swiss and Bayern Munich winger..........scored another goal of the competition.............shot from his left foot from the left flank from a good 20 metre at the far left corner of the goal post............stunned the honduras goal keeper Valladares who was in better position to thwart any attempts on goal.....it left him unmoved................Shaqiri scored another goal and this time assisted by Josip Drmic (No. 19).............selfless assist from this midfielder........Shaqiri also scored the third goal and his hattrick and in fact the first hattrick of this competition...............the last two goals of Shaqiri were scored from a perfect counter attack movement from Switzerland..........Honduras needed a win to restore some pride but they were up against a very determined swiss team who knew only one form of game and i.e., attacking.......this game also saw fouls and ugly and rash tackles from honduran players..... Honduras got the tag of very physical team in this World Cup 2014......Switzerland 3 - 0Honduras............after 3 - 0 down honduras gave up physical football and get into playing smooth football........typical central american style of football which has the similarity of latin america style...... really gave some tough time to switzerland in the stoppage time.....!!!Switzerland qualified for the last 16 courtesy some fabulous display of football against Honduras...............!!!
