The visitors forced four early corners as they continued to take the game to the hosts and all were cleared. Then it was Kettering’s turn to win the corners- but defences continued to dominate. Jon Bukasa then got in a couple of crosses from the left- the first saw Alfie Taylor’s shot blocked and the second saw the ball bounce in front of Dubi Ogbonna but he failed to control and lost the chance to shoot. Andy Gooding then slipped as he shot and Robert Peet collected the effort easily. Half way through the period,Ogbonna created a chance on the right- but the shot was high and wide.
