The band often incorporated clarinet, flute, percussion, trumpet, saxophone, piano, and organ into an emotive and esoteric stew. Toby Driver, a founding member, would go on to release multiple albums with Kayo Dot, but for me the three original MOTW records are my favorite work of his. Over the two companion albums, Bath and Leaving Your Body Map the band experimented with composing from real consciousness to composing from the Akashic record; supposedly the song Interlude 4 was entirely composed from a dream/astral state and represents the culmination of this. Leaving Your Body Map is my favorite of the three as well as one of my very favorite albums overall, and also tends to be a perfect soundtrack for autumn time. youtube/watch?v=4BQdWWlxT9s
