mental health issues are often invisible a lot of people are surprised to know I have 3 autistic conditions (and a suspected 4th) - I use MAP tools to self-manage as best as possible, and if you watch me closely, yourll see my autism as clear as day ... I love the creativity that comes with my autism; and the lateral thinking and left-field insight that helps me help others through the maze of issues they tangle themselves in I am not so keen on the wobbliness, and the deep ache in my heart when I hear of pain in the world, or indeed, of any discomfort in those I love and care about. I have spent much of my life feeling small in a world surrounded by giants, while people respond to me as if the inverse of this is the case. I am lucky enough to have the courage, or brash audacity, or stupidity at times, to override fears and jump at lifes chances. Teaching businessmen in London how to improve their communication skills, plugging in with people around the world and teaching them about the inner dynamics of their lives, playing guitar in front of a room full of strangers, even writing my thoughts and comments, including these words here with you, takes a lot of self-chat and deep breaths and holding onto the smile that lives in the heart of my feelings I love the fact that I have found ways to make my mental health disadvantages invisible to the non-discerning eye ... I love the fact that I was lucky enough to fall inside wanting to understand people and the human condition ... I love the fact that I bumped into Astrology, the Craft and MAP (thanks Michael
